We operate full-day early learning and childcare centres for infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as extended daycare programs before and after school for kindergarten and school age children in over 30 locations throughout the Greater Hamilton Area.

Who are we Looking For?
We are looking for a Supply Educator to compliment our team!
The Supply Educator will work at our various locations within the Hamilton area, assisting the child care centres as directed.
Pay Rate $ 20.54/hr (includes wage grants)

What are we Looking For?
To be considered for this role, the right candidate will have the following qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children OR Related experience in a childcare setting, working with school age children (Director Approval Required)
Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education OR diploma in a related field
Certifications
- Standard First Aid with CPR level C
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Proof of up to date immunization for TB, Tetanus and MMR
Skills: Demonstrates awareness and knowledge of How Does Learning Happen is an asset

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for the ongoing operation of a high-quality childcare centre for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.
The successful candidate will:
- Report to the day care centres as assigned to cover for the full time staff
- Establish goals, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate experiences to enhance children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development in accordance with Ministry of Education’s How Does Learning Happen
- Maintain a safe, warm, and caring environment in which a high-quality child care program can operate, and maintain professional relationships with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty
